Water & Wastewater The sources of water are the Spray Lakes, Benchlands, Silvertip Reservoirs and aquifer. The monthly commercial base rate varies depending on the size of the water meter. There is also a volume usage rate: $.43 (for water) plus $.769 (for wastewater) = $1.199/m3. In a movement towards a Sustainable Canmore, rebates are now offered to homeowners who replace old fixtures and install new water saving devices. Please note that new construction and/or additions are not eligible for rebate. A $5 rebate is available for low flow showerheads and a $50-60 rebate is available for low flush toilets. Canmore is a water-partner community with EPCOR. This innovative utility
partnership with the Town of Canmore helps ensure the Town can provide
long-term value to its citizens. The 10-year utility management agreement with
EPCOR is one of the first in Canada with a complete spectrum of services
including water and wastewater treatment, water distribution, wastewater
