The Town of Canmore, Canmore Economic Development Authority and Bow Valley Builders and Developers Association are conducting an on-line survey of individuals and families who are seriously considering buying a property in Canmore, whether for permanent or part-time residential use. Like many small communities in Canada, Canmore’s demographics are changing. Baby Boomers, empty nesters, young families are increasingly moving to Canmore because of its natural beauty and higher quality of life. They have become a driving force for change and yet, we know little about them, their impacts, wants and needs. In addition, there is not yet an effective tool in engaging them — a critical factor for building a resilient and sustainable community.
